New Set - New Camera

Tue Oct 13, 2009, 3:14 AM
I just submitted my latest shoot with a fantastic model, Jose Fiend. It was my first time working with my new Mamiya 650, and these are the only shots that came out. I'm sure it was operator error for the other 28. Which sucks, because Jose is very photogenic, and what I could see of the rest, were pretty good. Anyway these were shot on Kodak 120 film then the negs scanned and processed in Lightroom and PS3. I'm not real fond of working with PS. I really prefer working in a darkroom. Which is kinda funny, considering that I'm a computer tech in real life. Enjoy the images, and feel free to comment or leave critiques. If you're interested in working with Jose, her Model Mayhem page is linked to the bottom of each image.

I guess I should pay more attention to my profile page. I had no idea that I had so many of you wonderful DA'ers watching. I assumed I would get a notice or something, and for some of you, I have. So if I haven't thanked you personally, I apologize, nd I thank all of you now as a group. Thank you very much!

Much Love ,

PS - I'm taking a photography class at the local college, so there should be a bigger volume of work coming soon.

OK, so, after seeing *TheBlindBat 's fantastic gallery, I took a shot at 3D rendering with DAZ 3D. I've posted my first attempt. No, it's not great, but it is my first try. Please be kind. This is a lot of fun, and no models schedules to worry about. LOL Anyway, enjoy!

OK, so yhe help desk said that the two photos were moved because of pixelation when the image was seen at full size. I can understand this concern, but that was not one of the reasons given in the form letter. The note went on to say that my lighting wasn't good. I don;t see this as a reason for the move, but would be more apropriate as a comment. So, anyway, I have re-submitted uncompressed jpegs that have only been resized to keep maximum detail. Let's see if anything is moved this time.
